How are rates calculated?
Rates are an amalgamation of costs for time, skilled labour, and equipment/software costs. They ensure I am able to keep my hardware and software up to date to allow me to produce high quality final assets efficiently and securely. Please Note, rates do not cover expenses.

What is included?
For any shoot, I come equipped to film as appropriate to the setting. Some specific shoots may require additional equipment which may require a third party for hire or transport [ie. extensive lighting, drone photography], which we will discuss and organise together, should you like, before the shoot.

How long will it take to edit?
Editing times vary depending on the complexity of the cut, duration, and purpose of the final asset. I can provide an estimated time when discussing the project, and if a rapid turnover is necessary, this is always possible to factor in. In general, I aim to complete cuts as fast as possible, but without compromising quality, as my time is valuable to me too!

Can you take photographs too?
I get asked this a lot. Unfortunately, I am only one person, so I cannot do the work of two!
If you need quality photography, you will have to hire a professional photographer. However, if you only need a picture or two for social media, I can snap one or two between shots. But regardless, for quality and variety, I highly recommend engaging a professional photographer too.

Our budget doesn’t stretch that far…
Don’t worry, I know the feeling. In the arts we are sometimes operating under limited finances, but I also believe that we should try to support one another whenever possible. I don’t like to see passion curbed by money, so if this sounds familiar, get in touch and let’s see what we can do.
